This beautiful Neon lanyard is the perfect gift for teachers, nurses, retirees, students or anyone else who needs to keep their ID and keys handy. It is a full 36 inches in length (18 each side) and glows in Neon Pink, Neon Green, White and Black bands of glass 11/0 seed beads. I have included both an ID badge clip AND a key ring in stainless steel. You can use either one or both if you wish. Finally, the end is wrapped in genuine deer hide for a nice finish.
I have made this lanyard using the old method I was taught where every single row is stitched down. What this means for you is that if one bead or row of beads somehow comes off, the entire lanyard does not unravel, which is a problem with the newer method of "wrapping" the beads around the rope that many less expensive lanyards are done in. My method is more time consuming, (8+ hours of beading per lanyard) but it gives a higher quality finish to the end product. Your lanyard will last for many years.
I made one just like this for my mother who is in a retirement home to keep her id badge, room key and safety alert on. It is both beautiful and practical and she is the envy of the other residents :)
