A ring as unique as your love! This stunning, genuine raw black diamond is approximately 1 carat and has been ethically sourced and guaranteed conflict free under Kimberly Process Certification.

I have set it into a simple 14k rose gold 4 claw setting. I have lightly textured the band to give it character and add to it's uniqueness. I currently have one US Size 9 ring ready to ship, and can make any other size for you within 1 - 2 weeks.

Please note that all of my diamonds are similar in shape and size, but because they are natural, they may not be exactly the same as the one pictured.

* Approx. 1 Carat Raw Rough Natural Black Diamond Approx. 5mm round
* 14k Rose Gold Chiseled 4 Claw Band Approx. 1.5mm wide
* Nubuck Leather Presentation Ring Case

Natural Raw black diamonds are REAL diamonds, not man-made or processed. They are found almost exclusively in the state of Bahia in Brazil, where they occur in the cascalho or diamond-bearing gravel.

They are thought to be extraterrestrial in origin because, unlike other natural diamonds, carbonado has no mantle-derived inclusions. Supporters of an extraterrestrial origin of carbonados propose that their material source was a supernova which occurred at least 3.8 billion years ago. After coalescing and drifting through outer space for about one and a half billion years, a large mass fell to earth as a meteorite approximately 2.3 billion years ago, possibly fragmenting during entry into the Earth's atmosphere, and impacting in a region which would much later split into Brazil and the Central African Republic, the only two known locations of carbonado deposits.

For a love that's out of this world, what could be a more perfect symbol?
