Obsidian Arrowhead Statement Necklace ~ Boho Raw Sodalite Stone Necklace
This handcrafted genuine Canadian Aboriginal gemstone statement necklace is unisex in design and will appeal to those who embrace nature and the free spirited way of life.
I have strung it using genuine Sodalite stone chips and a hand knapped black obsidian arrowhead. The Arrowhead has been wrapped with silver plated copper jewelers' wire and the necklace is accented with two antique silver plated beads. The necklace is 36 inches long (90 cm) and the arrowhead is approximately 1.5 x 1 inch (40 x 25 mm).
Sodalite has been called the "poor man's Lapis Lazuli" due to its similarities in colour. It is a stone of both water and air and as we know "Water Is Life" Sodalite is a stone that is good for healing breaches in communication. It is a stone of truth, and brings this to all communications. It is also called a Poet's Stone. It can help end arguments or other disagreements. It is particularly useful for honesty of emotions and love. It increases intelligence, knowledge and learning, and can unite the logical with the spiritual.
Black obsidian is also known as Royal Agate, Xaga, Glassy Lava, and Glass Agate. It is born quickly out of cooled lava from the volcano. This is why it has the most potent energies. It has the elements of fire, water, and earth. Black obsidian has been around since the prehistoric times. It was used to make arrowheads, spear points, and other cutting tools.
If you value integrity, the obsidian stone is perfect for you. It will keep you on the straight and narrow. It will call you out when you begin to go astray. It’s a stone that can help ground you, especially when you are winning, succeeding, and making all your dreams come true.
This necklace is 36 inches (90 cm) long and can be worn as a single, long layered pendant, or you can double-loop it for a choker/pendant combination look as seen in the photos. I have added a simple lobster claw clasp to make this an easy way to switch up your look!
