These beautiful earrings are genuine Indigenous handmade by ME - a Metis Kookum here in beautiful Alberta, Canada! These are 4.5 Inches long from the bottom of the earwire and 1 Inch wide. The teardrop frames are made of gold plated brass, and the earwires are 14k goldplated stainless steel so they are hypoallergenic. They consist of 11 fringes on each earring and this is my own pattern. They are mismatched earrings in that each earring is a mirror of the other forming 2 halves of a sunflower. They are available in earwire, stud or clip on styles.
Sunflowers symbolize Happiness, Admiration, Optimism, Loyalty, Devotion, Strength and Resiliance and are often used to symbolize mental health. The Sunflower is also the 3rd Anniversary floral gift.
