Southwestern Style Turquoise and Antler Slice Drop Earrings
These unique earrings look like the real thing, but the faux antler slices are actually made of Tagua Nut. With the same shape and creamy colouring of antique bone, they allow vegans to have the same Southwestern or Indigenous look without betraying their convictions.
The stones are genuine New Mexico Turquoise, so they are a greenish blue from the higher copper content in the soil than in Arizona. Turquoise is known as the "Stone of Friendship" and is revered worldwide. It is also the traditional December birthstone.
The Bear Paw charms are antique pewter with genuine turquoise stones and measure 14x12mm
I have suspended these on hypoallergenic stainless steel marquise-style ear wires so that they are easy to put on. They measure 2.25 inches from the bottom of the ear wire and are approximately 1 inch at the widest part.
