The deep purple amethyst gemstone is approximately 1.5 inches long by 1 inch wide. The bail is "Vermeil", which is the term for solid sterling silver that has been plated with 14k gold. It features an inverted heart and tiny enameled blue flowers. The necklace itself is a comfortable 18 Inches in length and is made of 14k gold fill that closes with a sweet gold plated lobster claw clasp shaped like a heart.
