This stunning Native beaded medallion combines the best of many cultures. The beautiful center of the medallion is a cloisonne enameled brass disk with a gorgeous pink lotus flower fully opened against a backdrop of green. I have beaded around this focal with green, pink and gold 11/0 glass seed beads. I have backed it with genuine deerhide and edged it with handcut rose quartz rondelles. The chain is pink, green, red and gold in a daisy chain stitch. The medallion is 2.5 inches wide for a wonderful statement piece.
The matching hoop seed bead earrings are also 2.5 inches from edge to edge and are made in the same 11/0 seed beads, again in a floral stitch. The earwires are 14k gold plated stainless steel leverbacks by default. You can change them to 14k gold plated earwires, studs, or even clip on earrings if you wish at no extra charge.
Pink lotus flowers are known as Buddha’s earthly symbol, where a bud symbolizes one’s spiritual journey and a fully-bloomed pink lotus represents enlightenment. Rose Quartz is a stone of universal love. I love how these 2 cultures - Buddhism and Native American Spirituality - have meshed so beautifully to create this one-of-a-kind statement piece for weddings, birthdays or powwows - really any celebration of life or joy you want!
