This unique TeePee pin is great to wear under the collar of a button down shirt, to hold your shawl or sweater closed or to keep your Metis Sash in place. Also looks amazing on a denim jacket (just saying)
I have hand beaded it using size 11/0 glass seed beads and accented it with cobalt blue crystals. It is beaded onto a stainless steel kilt pin.
The pin is 2.5 inches wide at the widest point and 3 inches long. You can see a size comparison to the palm of my hand.
The colours are a striking combo of cobalt or royal blue, red, yellow, black and white. All traditional colours used in Indigenous beadwork. I myself am Metis and have helped raise a few tipis in my 69 years of life :)
